Somehow stumbled across this story and had to share. You may want to read this background information first.
Alferd has appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show, and has been in the media quite a bit recently. His story is inspiring and reminded me of some little things that I take for granted every day - like being able to read the signs above the grocery store aisles.
